Roblox has implemented significant new safety measures to protect its young player base. The platform now requires users worldwide to undergo age-checking to access chat features, ensuring appropriate content delivery based on verified ages.
A standout feature is the real-time chat rephrasing system that automatically transforms profanity into neutral language, maintaining smooth and civil gameplay without disrupting the gaming experience.
The company has also launched its inaugural Global Parent Council, bringing together 80 parents from 32 countries to help shape products, policies, and safety efforts. This initiative demonstrates Roblox's commitment to involving families in platform governance.
